Hand in hand with HLB
HLB stands for the three founding companies from England, the USA and the Netherlands – Hodgson, Landau, Brands – and represents a network of independent, legally unaffiliated auditing, tax consulting and corporate consulting companies.
As early as 1972, auditors in Germany joined forces to master the increasing demands of their clients regarding national and international expertise.
The HLB Schumacher Gruppe has been a part of HLB since 1985 and participates in numerous bodies and working groups nationally as well as internationally.
Today, HLB Deutschland is a network of 23 independent and unaffiliated companies at 30 locations. More than 220 partners (auditors, tax consultants and attorneys) as well as more than 2,000 other professionals and employees with excellent qualifications support their clients in realising ambitious plans.
IFA Westfalen
The IFA (International Fiscal Association) is a globally active association with more than 12,500 members. The purpose of the IFA is studying and promoting international and comparable tax law.
In this context, it considers itself as a platform for expert exchange between representatives from industry and business, judges and administrators as well as consultants and scientists regarding tax issues based on the increasingly international orientation of companies.
IFA Westfalen is a section of the German IFA country group. It regularly provides free-admission events for parties interested in international tax law.
We are a cooperation partner of IFA Westfalen. Our partner Prof. Dr. Christian Jahndorf acts as managing director and our attorney of counsel Prof. Dr. Till Zech acts as a spokesman for IFA Westfalen.
